Branch 1484 has a laptop computer we would like to sell.  The laptop will be sold to the highest bidder in a sealed bid auction.  All bids must be submitted, in writing, no later than (NLT) 31 March 2010.  The winning bid will be announced at the April 8, 2010 Branch meeting.  Payment must be made NLT 15 April 2010.  The winning bidder may pick up the laptop at time of payment.  Only members in good standing of NALC Branch 1484 are eligible to bid.  Minimum bid is $100.  Seller has no knowledge of any hidden defects in and to the laptop, and believes to the best of the Seller's knowledge that the laptop being sold is in good operating condition. Said laptop is otherwise sold in “as is” condition.  Laptop was originally purchased in 2003.
